Each soaking tub is then assembled by hand using our proprietary construction technology and crafted by highly skilled woodworkers. We developed our dousing system as a compact alternative to traditional cooling in a river, lake, or plunge pool. A BARELCRAFT dousing bucket can be easily mounted on the wall inside a sauna or bathhouse, making it a practical and visually harmonious addition to a traditional wellness environment.
Its natural wood construction blends seamlessly with the authentic atmosphere of Russian-style bathing rituals while adding a distinctive tactile and aesthetic element to the space.

The story of BAREL began in 1999 with a small group of passionate enthusiasts united by one goal: to learn how to create exceptional wooden products for bathhouses, saunas, and homes.
They believed that with enough dedication, craftsmanship, and persistence, even the most ambitious ideas could be brought to life. Their first products were wooden soaking tubs. At the same time, they were continuously learning and refining their woodworking skills — studying professional literature, listening closely to customer feedback, making calculations, testing ideas, and debating every detail of their sketches and designs.
Over the years, this hands-on creative process transformed a small group of like-minded craftsmen into BAREL, a full-scale manufacturing company. The product range expanded from the first compact soaking tubs to a broad collection of premium wooden products for bathhouses, saunas, spas, and residential interiors, including chaise lounges and beds, wooden bathtubs and sinks, shower enclosures, gazebos, doors, and more.
