ABOUT THE PRODUCT
A wooden soaking tub is a traditional, environmentally conscious solution for bathing, relaxation, and contrast bathing rituals.
Our soaking tubs are available in a wide range of shapes, including round, oval, corner, square, rectangular, and double or cascading configurations.
Compared with a conventional bathtub, soaking tubs are typically larger and deeper, providing comfortable space for one person or for two, three, or more people, depending on the model. In practical terms, they occupy a category between a standard bathtub and a small pool.
BARELCRAFT wooden soaking tubs can be equipped with water heating systems, including electric heaters or wood-fired stoves, as well as a wide range of optional equipment such as water filtration, air massage, hydrotherapy, and chromotherapy systems.
For greater convenience and accessibility, we offer internal and external steps, handrails for comfortable entry and exit, and integrated platforms designed to conceal technical equipment while giving the tub a more refined, finished appearance.
The wood species we use include thermally modified beech, larch, thermally modified ash, and teak.
You can order BARELCRAFT soaking tubs using either three-layer or two-layer construction technology, with a wide variety of material combinations and configurations.

WOOD-FIRED HEATER PLACEMENT OPTIONS
External heater

The external wood-fired heater is made from stainless steel and is designed as a compact cylindrical unit equipped with everything required for convenient operation.
Positioning the heater outside the wooden soaking tub offers several practical advantages. It provides easy access to the heater for loading firewood, cleaning, inspection, and routine maintenance, helping support reliable long-term operation.
In addition to the heater, the external equipment setup can include a technical enclosure containing the circulation pump and water filter. Water continuously circulates between the soaking tub and the heater, returning heated and filtered water to the tub while cooler water is drawn out for filtration and reheating.
Internal heater

The internal wood-fired heater is installed directly inside the soaking tub and separated from the bathing area by a wooden partition.
Although the heater occupies a small portion of the tub’s interior, this configuration offers a cleaner, more integrated appearance than an external heater setup. It also creates a more compact installation footprint and provides convenient access for operation.
The technical section can also house the circulation pump and water filter. Water moves continuously between the heater and the main bathing area, passing through the filtration system while cooler water is drawn in and heated water is returned to the tub.
SOAKING TUB CONSTRUCTION

SOAKING TUB CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES
Single-layer soaking tubs
Constructed entirely from wood. The 42–45 mm thick boards are joined using a precision interlocking groove system. These tubs must be kept filled with water to maintain proper wood stability and sealing.
Two-layer soaking tubs
Available in wood + polypropylene or wood + stainless-steel configurations. These tubs can be fully drained and left empty when not in use.
Three-layer soaking tubs
Constructed using a wood + polypropylene + wood system. This configuration preserves the natural look and tactile character of wood while allowing the tub to be fully drained when necessary.
With proper care, a BARELCRAFT soaking tub can provide a service life of at least 20 years.
